December 6, 2000; ScreenFriends Launches Generation Two Of Voice-Activated Product

Los Angeles, CA, December 6, 2000 - ScreenFriendsTM Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WENR Corporation (OTC: WENR), and developer of voice-activated on-screen characters designed to simplify computer and web navigation, announced today they have launched the next version of their interactive software, appropriately named "Generation Two."

The Generation Two version of ScreenFriends has several new functionalities, making the software even more interactive and customizable for its users. Among the new additions are the characters' ability to read email to users, the ability for sponsoring companies to deliver daily promos and messages to users, and user customization of navigation menus. Additional functionality modules such as dictation, individual stock quotations and applications for PDAs are currently under development.

With the ScreenFriends program, a computer user can operate a PC and surf the Internet by using voice commands and interacting with an animated character on their computer screen. It makes computer operation more of a conversation and is faster and more entertaining compared to traditional computer operation.

ScreenFriends has a number of characters, including the latest character, Samantha Seventeen (a graceful, bubbly, trendy cyber-teenager developed for client SEVENTEEN Magazine's website, Seventeen.com) and the well-known Universal Studio's family of cartoon characters such as Rocky and Bullwinkle. Characters are interchangeable with a voice command and can be used to deliver promotional messages that offer online and offline branding opportunities to corporate sponsors.

"Corporations recognize the benefit to using ScreenFriends for both customer acquisition and retention," explains company CEO Gregory Santore. "Given away as a promotional item or used in a reward program, ScreenFriends are dynamic…so corporations can continue marketing through a choice of characters well after the initial distribution."
