ScreenFriends Receives Order from Northgate Innovations

LOS ANGELES - January 21, 2003--ScreenFriends(TM) Co. (www.screenfriends.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of WENR Corp. (OTC:WNRC) (www.wenr.net) announced today that it received a purchase order from Northgate Innovations, Inc., (OTCBB:NGTE) (www.northgate.com) a manufacturer of computers, to purchase ScreenFriends software for implementation on Northgate computers. Northgate will place ScreenFriends' voice-activated software on selected computers. ScreenFriends is customizing its software specifically for Northgate's customers. The customers will be able to enjoy the normal features of the ScreenFriends software as well as shopping for additional products from Northgate with voice commands.

Northgate is a leading manufacturer of PCs, Laptops, workstations and servers. It services over one million customers and has the capability to process thousands of daily orders. The Company is well recognized by consumers and business users as a result of its extended TV exposure over the last 13 years, and the substantial installed base of customers accumulated over this period.

Northgate offers its products to a number of high profile TV shopping channels, value added resellers, and has recently established a comprehensive program to authorize 1000 resellers in the USA, in addition to expanding its international distribution network. Northgate products are recognized for BTO (Build to Order) models, as users can custom configure their systems based per their requirements and application needs. Northgate is capable of shipping thousands of orders each day; delivering up to 30,000 PCs a month throughout its distribution channels and direct Educational and Government contracts.

With selling ScreenFriends' software through Northgate computers the company now has access to selling through three major marketing channels; an OEM (original equipment manufacturer,) direct marketing (television commercials,) and catalog sales. The Company will continue to further develop its ScreenFriends software for premium upgrades offered to existing users. It will also continue to provide customized programming for its current customers.

ScreenFriends' Inter(Face)(TM) is proprietary software utilizing speech command-response technology to provide voice-activated solutions for desktop navigation. Upon voice command, the software opens and closes programs, searches databases and index systems, surfs the Web, delivers dynamic online messages (reads and delivers: e-mail, stock quotes, news, movie reviews, weather reports etc.) to the user.
