Tue May 16 WENR Corp. Announces Appointment of Contract Chief Technology Officer

Los Angeles: May 16, 2000. WENR Corporation: (OTC BB: WENR) announced today that it has appointed a contract Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Yusuf Hussain has agreed to serve as a non-employee Chief Technology Officer of WENR. Mr. Hussain is President and CEO of CresSoft, Inc., the U.S. arm of a large, Pakistani software engineering and consulting company. Mr. Hussain will continue in his role as CresSoft's CEO, but in addition he will provide strategic advisory services to WENR as the occasion arises. WENR and CresSoft have had a business relationship over the last three years, and last October they formed a strategic alliance for the purpose of pursuing business-to-business, e-commerce opportunities. WENR is primarily interested in making acquisitions; CresSoft is primarily interested in providing client services. CresSoft, under Mr. Hussain's leadership has provided software engineering services to Fortune 100 companies such as TimeWarner, MCI, Northwest Airlines, and Phillips Electronics.

Mr. Hussain studied engineering at Cornell University, eventually taking a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and electrical engineering at Rice University. In addition he holds a masters degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is one of the founders of CresSoft.
