ScreenFriends Develops “Voice-enabled Casino Games”

Los Angeles, CA, February 13, 2001 – ScreenFriendsTM Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary (www.screenfriends.com), of WENR Corporation (OTC: WENR) (www.wenr.net), and developer of voice-interactive software designed to simplify computer and web navigation, announced today the development breakthrough of the first “voice-enabled casino games.”

“This breakthrough will revolutionize how we play games on the computer and over the Internet” said Brad Carley, Director of Product Development. ScreenFriends’ “Say and Play” technology can be rapidly interfaced with existing computer games. ScreenFriends intends to partner, or license its “intelligent speech brain” technology to game development companies who seek an enhanced, voice-activated gaming experience.

Americans purchased more than 215 million video and computer games in 1999 as game software sales revenues hit an all-time high of $6.1 billion, according to figures released by the Interactive Digital Software Association.

The ScreenFriends Personal Inter(Face)Ô product is a patent-pending software combining voice recognition, animated characters and computer response technologies. ScreenFriends characters are interchangeable and can be customized to promote any corporate sponsor online or offline 24/7.

For computer users, the software requires no training to receive rich media and dynamic promotional content over the web. ScreenFriends will open and close programs, surf the web, read e-mail, and deliver stock quotes, news, movie reviews, weather reports, etc. Companies are using ScreenFriends to increase website traffic, deliver electronic coupons, increase brand awareness and offer special promotions direct to their desired demographic. The technology developed by ScreenFriends provides for a voice-enabled solution for most computer software.

ScreenFriends Corp. was founded in 1998 and acquired by WENR Corp. in October of this year. WENR is a holding company that began implementing an Internet/marketing focus earlier in the year with the acquisition of Global Image Technologies [a wholly-owned subsidiary providing internet support services and web hosting] and the recent acquisition of ScreenFriends.

This news release contains information that is “forward-looking” in that it describes events and conditions, which WENR Corp. reasonably expects to occur in the future. Expectations for the future performance of the businesses of WENR is dependent on a number of factors, and there can be no assurance that WENR will achieve the results as contemplated herein.
